Nepal Earthquake

We wanted to let people know we’re in Bhaktapur, 10km from Kathmandu, and safe. Half the city has been flattened and the dead are still being found. The tremors have been coming continuously since the main quake at midday yesterday. We’ve spent the night in a square with a few hundred Nepalese and a handful of tourists. Everyone is pulling together so we will stick here until the shakes stop. Extremely devastating and surreal scenes as you can imagine. Food and water supplies seem grand at the mo.
Thinking of you all and the families who’ve lost loved ones.

    • Thank you for your note my darlings! What a ride the last week has been. The aid seems to be trickling in but so many people still without the basic food and water. We spoke to the Red Cross in hope of helping but all seems slightly chaotic. Sending you all lots of love straight back 🙂 XXX

    • Wonderful to hear from you my love, hope all is well with you, Charlie and Delila by the seaside 🙂 It has all been a little mad to say the least. We’ve managed to move onto Pokhara now but the Kathmandu valley really was a wipeout. Feeling for all the families and people who still need aid! Big love all over to you and yours.
